IMAGENS TRISTES DO FIM DO VERÃO

O último dia
O último dia do verão
Os últimos raios de sol
Os últimos dias ensolarados
Os últimos sorrisos alegres,
Sorrisos contidos
sem praia,
sem campo,
sem montanhas
somente montanhas de corpos,
monte de mortes
Tudo esta lavado pelo sangue inocente
e a culpa pulsa
nos espíritos dos irresponsáveis,
dos gananciosos, dos fascistas,
dos conservadores
dos golpistas

A primeiras frentes frias vem do sul,
tímidas inicialmente
e depois
atrevidas,
constantes,
cortantes,
frenéticas,
tenebrosas,
geladas,
congelantes.
A natureza se enrola
para um cochilo de cinco meses...
as borboletas se vão
ficaram apenas

Desejo rever a primavera...
Rever amigos
Rever as flores

Mas existirão amigos?
Existirão flores?
Existirão florestas?
Existirão campos
campinas, regatos
montanhas, trilhas
acampamentos,
fogueiras e festas?

In company with Christ, who died and now lives, may they rejoice in Your kingdom, where all our tears are wiped away. Unite us together again in one family, to sing Your praise forever and ever.

Give him eternal rest oh Lord and may the perpetual light shine upon him. Introduce him to God, the Most High, Father of Mercies, we greet you our brother in the hope that together with all who died in Christ, you will live with him someday. In the name of the father, the son and the holy spirit. Amen. Beloved brother, we surrender your body to earth, mother earth, root mother, father of the soil, we surrender the body of our beloved brother.

You can shed tears that he is gone / Or you can smile because he has lived / You can close your eyes and pray that he will come back / Or you can open your eyes and see all that he has left / Your heart can be empty because you can't see him / Or you can be full of the love that you shared / You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday / Or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday / You can remember him and only that he is gone / Or you can cherish his memory and let it live on / You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn your back / Or you can do what he would want: smile, open your eyes, love and go on.

Do not stand at my grave and weep. / I am not there. I do not sleep. / I am a thousand winds that blow. / I am the diamond glints on snow. / I am the sunlight on ripened grain. / I am the gentle autumn rain. / When you awaken in the morning’s hush / I am the swift uplifting rush / Of quiet birds in circled flight. / I am the soft stars that shine at night. / Do not stand at my grave and cry. / I am not there. I did not die.

Qual o motivo desse golpe ?
Onde querem chegar?
Onde estás ó mãe raiz,
Onde estás ó pai do solo?
Deixarão morrer mais quantos?

In company with Christ, who died and now lives, may they rejoice in Your kingdom, where all our tears are wiped away. Unite us together again in one family, to sing Your praise forever and ever.

You can shed tears that {name} has gone, / Or you can smile because she has lived. / You can close your eyes and pray that she'll come back / Or you can open your eyes and see all that she has left. / Your heart can be empty because you can't see her, / Or you can be full of love that you shared. / You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday, / Or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday. / You can remember her and that she has gone, / Or you can cherish {name}'s memory and let it live on. / You can try and close your mind, / Be empty and turn your back, / Or you can do what she would want, / Smile, open your eyes, love and go on.

Take my hand and walk with me / Across the sands of time. / Hand in hand and heart to heart / Together, friend of mine. / We will share the solitude / And walk in quiet peace / For my heart hears what your heart says; / It listens when yours speaks. / The years have brought us to this place / Across the sands of Time And we will walk here til the end / Together, friend of mine.

When I come to the end of the road, / And the sun has set for me. / I want no rites in a gloom-filled room. / Why cry for a soul set free? / Miss me a little — but not too long, / And not with your head bowed low. / Remember the love that was once shared. / Miss me – but let me go. / For this is a journey we all must take, / And each must go alone. / It’s all a part of the master’s plan, / A step on the road to home. / When you are lonely and sick of heart, / Go to the friends we know. / Bear your sorrow in good deeds. / Miss me, but let me go. /

The rainbow flag is flying proudly on Thursday above the Bank of England in the heart of London’s financial district to commemorate World War II codebreaker Alan Turing, the new face of Britain’s 50-pound note.

The design of the bank note, which is the most valuable denomination in circulation, was unveiled on Thursday before it is formally issued to the public on June 23, Turing’s birthday.

The new note, which is laden with high-level security features, completes the bank’s rejig of its stable of paper currencies over the past few years. Turing’s image joins that of Winston Churchill on the five-pound note, novelist Jane Austen on the 10-pound note and artist J. M. W. Turner on the 20-pound note.

All the notes are made from polymer rather than paper, which means they should last longer and remain in better condition through their use.
Like the 20-pound note, which entered into circulation a little more than a year ago, the new 50-pound note incorporates two windows and a two-color foil that designers say will make it very difficult to counterfeit. There is also a hologram image which changes between the words “Fifty” and “Pounds” when the note is tilted from side to side.

Turing was selected as the new face of the 50-pound note in 2019, recognition for his pivotal role in breaking the Enigma code in World War II that historians say may have helped shorten the conflict by at least two years, saving millions of lives.

“There’s something of the character of a nation in its money, and we are right to consider and celebrate the people on our bank notes,” Bank of England Gov. Andrew Bailey said.

“Turing is best known for his codebreaking work at Bletchley Park, which helped end the Second World War. However, in addition he was a leading mathematician, developmental biologist, and a pioneer in the field of computer science. He was also gay, and was treated appallingly as a result.”

During World War II Turing worked at the secret Bletchley Park code-breaking center, where he helped crack Nazi Germany’s secret codes by creating the “Turing bombe,” a forerunner of modern computers. He also developed the “Turing Test” to measure artificial intelligence.

After the war he was prosecuted for homosexuality, which was then illegal, and forcibly treated with female hormones. He died at age 41 in 1954 after eating an apple laced with cyanide.

Turing received a posthumous apology from the British government in 2009, and a royal pardon in 2013.
